PhD in veterinary medicine Paulina Drobot

The doctor conducts neurological consultations, assists in neurosurgical procedures, performs and evaluates hearing tests using the BAER method, as well as assesses CT and MRI scans of neurological patients.

Graduate of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Wrocław. During her studies, she developed an interest in veterinary neurology after attending the “Neurology and Clinical Neuropathology” faculty and in 2016 started a scientific study on the volumetric analysis of the brain in dogs with idiopathic epilepsy. After earning her doctor of veterinary medicine title, she began clinical work at the Neurology Clinic of the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences, where she provided consultations on all cases, including the most challenging ones. In 2018 she began her PhD study on “Assessment of the correlation between volumetric brain measurements in magnetic resonance imaging and electroencephalographic findings in dogs with idiopathic epilepsy”. She is a member of the European Association of Veterinary Neurology. In 2018 she completed a neuroimaging course on computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging in Bologna. For several years she has been evaluating and interpreting magnetic resonance imaging scans of neurological patients. She spends her leisure time exploring new places and going for walks with her dog Melon.
