    At our clinic, we perform electroencephalography (EEG) tests, which are analysed by our doctors.

    Electroencephalography is a non-invasive method that allows to perform assessment of the brain's bioelectrical activity. It is a diagnostic method that has been a valuable tool in the diagnosis of brain diseases for many years, both in humans and animals.
    Thanks to EEG testing, we are able to identify the focus of epileptic discharges, differentiate behavioural or seizure-like disorders from epilepsy, determine the type of epileptic discharges, diagnose sleep disorders, as well as monitor the treatment process. The use of this technique allows us to make an accurate diagnosis of epileptic seizures with the highest level of confidence (Tier III) according to the International Veterinary Epilepsy Task Force (IVETF).

    By incorporating EEG testing into our diagnostic protocol, we are able to diagnose epileptic/seizure-like episodes more accurately and determine the optimal therapy for our patients.
